The Hargrave bibliography is based largely on the book and playing card collection of the United States Playing Card Company formed by George Clulow, now at Vanderbilt University. The book is exquisite, containing many colored plates. The bibliography, while useful, is quite idiosyncratic. It is widely available in the rare book trade for about $300.
